For out-of-towners, we suggest that you stay in Downtown Long Beach. It’s centrally-located, letting you get to all the major SoCal airports and all the Los Angeles and Orange County tourist attractions without having to brave too many hours on the freeways. You can also stumble home from the party without having to worry about where you’ll wake up.
All that said, Long Beach has some sketchy areas, and in Downtown, one or two blocks can make a big difference, so here are some suggested hotels, in a few different price ranges:

The reception venue and downtown hotels are very near the Long Beach Convention Center, therefore we recommend you make your room reservations well in advance.
